Sunday Morning Coffee

Sunday morning I usually grab a coffee and take time to catch-up on some stories I may not have had time to read throughout the week.  I thought you might enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.

You Could Work Here!

Beach Pea Kitchen & Bar- Lunenburg

It’s that time of year, when a lot of seasonal spots are looking for staff to join them for hopefully, a busy summer. The Beach Pea, Salt Shaker Deli, Fish Shack and others are hiring now for various positions.

You Could Live Here!

75 Brooklyn Shore Road, Liverpool

Who hasn’t dreamed of renovating a church into a cafe or arts space? Well…here is your chance to own a former church, in Brooklyn, with ocean views, directly across from the marina. You can look online and find plenty of former churches that have made redone into incredible spaces. I have no doubt this will sell, and then we will hopefully someday see the finished results.

This former church has recently seen a transformation in the former hall to create a Victorian-themed 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home, while retaining the original sanctuary with its 25+ feet ceilings and wooden pews. The opportunities are endless with this seaside property across from the Brooklyn Marina and Herring Cove. You will love the views and proximity of the park and cove, along with nearby sand beaches. The sky is the limit with this property…whether you want to continue to use the residential portion for year round living, or perhaps you’d like to convert it into a cafe, pub or retail space. With a few modifications, anything is possible! Brooklyn is located just 5 mins from Liverpool and the amenities that it has to offer such as a modern hospital, rec centre, schools and the historic Astor Theatre.
