Let’s Meet for Coffee- Chester’s Cafe

Every community needs their spot. Their go-to…their gathering place…their meet-up. I dare say, Chester has a new destination….Chester’s Cafe. Nestled on Queen Street, in the heart of the village, across from The Focscle and around the corner from the Chester Playhouse Theatre, this warm and welcoming, newly opened cafe, is perfect in many ways.

Chester’s Cafe has an inviting feeling, the minute you walk in. With its wood planked walls, intimate round tables and chairs and of course, the large fireplace with cozy couches next to it, this is the perfect kind of place you just want to sit and stay awhile.

Chester’s Cafe has a lovely selection of coffee and teas. They have self-serve Laughing Whale coffee, croissants, bread and treats from Julien’s Bakery, and even locally curated meats and cheeses.

Chester’s Cafe also has soup and sandwich lunch options, and I was told they were also waiting for a liquor licence to soon be able to serve local wine and beer. A glass of wine and a charcuterie board…how lovely!

Chester’s Cafe also has a long table with stools on both sides and some games available. What a perfect idea for after school or on a Sunday afternoon. Chess anyone?

What a great addition to the village of Chester and surrounding communities. A perfect place to have a meeting, do some work, or gather with friends. Good food, good coffee, and good conversation will be had here…what could be better? 🙂

Next time you’re headed to Graves Island for a walk or picnic, why not grab coffee and sandwiches to go? Or a perfect stop after visiting the Chester Farmers Market in the summer/fall.

Have you been to Chester’s Cafe yet?
