What’s Happening Online on the South Shore: May 8-14

After temporarily shelving our popular What’s Happening on the South Shore This Weekend post, due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of…well……everything, it suddenly became clear, that there are things happening on the South Shore…A LOT OF THINGS! What’s Happening Online on the South Shore will direct you to virtual events, curb-side pick-ups and delivery options for those looking for something to do or to support our community.

From concerts and yoga, to paint nights and artist readings, there is no shortage of cultural and social events that we can partake in from the comfort of our home. It’s also been so impressive to see our local restaurants, cafe’s and farmers markets, transition to pick-up and delivery models, a move welcomed by many.

While we are still under a provincial State of Emergency, life does go on. There are birthdays and celebrations, family looking for ways to connect and discovering there are ways to enjoy the things we miss, from the comfort and safety of our own homes. Thank you to all the workers, entertainers, artists, coaches, and more who are making that happen.
