This Week in my Garden- 23-5-17

My little garden is coming along. I’ve been learning a lot this year in my  “Grow with Me and Wile’s Lake Farm Market” series. You can see how I got my soil ready, planned my garden, planted cool weather crops and am planning to do some companion planting. Each week things come to life and grow a little bit more. I’m excited to share what’s happening this week in my garden.

I love taking pictures of my garden each year and have frequently spent some cold winters days looking back at them to remind myself that seasons do change. 😉 I thought I would occasionally share a closer look at what’s happening…and growing…in my garden. These will be mostly photo posts…so if pictures of green plants and flowers are your thing….you’re in for a treat. 😉 Enjoy!

As you can see it isn’t all veggies in the garden. My bleeding hearts are blooming right now and so beautiful to see reappear each year. I have a lovely mix of perennials and annuals that are sprinkled through out the yard and some even mixed in the veggie garden itself to help ward of bugs and of course to attract the bees to help pollinate and the butterflies, to well, just make things a little sweeter outside.

Isn’t Spring just amazing! I’d love to see what’s happening in your garden this week. You could go over to our Facebook page and leave a picture in the comment section of this post.
