N.S. woman takes 102 walks for 102nd birthday to raise thousands for VON

What an incredible and inspiring story as Joy Saunders of Lunenburg finished up her goal of 102 walks to mark her 102 birthday this fall, raising over $70 000 in the process for the VON. Bravo!

Payroll Clerk- South Shore Regional Centre for Education

A full time position is available at the South Shore Regional Centre for Education as a Payroll Clerk.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of high school and of post secondary accounting education. 
  • Successful completion of payroll courses, such as those offered through the Canadian Payroll Association, would be a definite asset.
  • Experience in the use and application of Microsoft Office Software and above average knowledge of spreadsheet applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is mandatory.
  • Minimum two years experience in the field of payroll Accounting, primarily payroll.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of payroll accounting with minimum supervision.
  • Skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
  • Good verbal and written communications.
