Sunday Morning Coffee

Sunday morning I usually grab a coffee and take time to catch-up on some stories I may not have had time to read throughout the week.  I thought you might enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.

Syrian chocolate company in Antigonish set to double in size

I think I’ve shared every story ever published about this business. 😉 I can’t help it…it’s just been such an amazing journey for the Hadhad family and Peace by Chocolate.

“Our major responsibility as immigrants to this country is not to take, but to contribute. It’s always about that. We didn’t come here to take anyone’s job. We came here to create jobs,” said Hadhad.

Shout out to the community of Antigonish who embraced this family and allowed them to begin their life here in Canada.

PS. Anyone else waiting for Tareq Hadhad to run for political office? No…just me? Carry on….;)

Go Rural steering toward new digital transportation platform

Wow…this is exciting! Lunenburg County could soon have its own Uber-style transportation network. What an incredible opportunity for potential drivers and for the people who need this sort of service. Excited to follow along and see where this goes.

3580 Highway 331 Lahave,Lunenburg County

I’m sort of in love with this little place. The beautiful, updated kitchen, the lovely and private back yard, and just a short walk to the Lahave Bakery….wow! For $184 500, this could be perfect for first time home buyers, or those looking to downsize. It’s a sweet spot.

This property is listed with Allan Mosher of Keller Williams Select Realty.

Enjoy the day!
