Let’s Meet for Coffee- 27 West Cafe- Bridgewater, NS

Chances are, through your personal or professional life, you will find yourself saying “Let’s meet for coffee…” at one time or another. You may just want to slip away yourself for a few quiet minutes to refresh, read, or do some work. Now…where to go? This week how about 27 West Cafe in Bridgewater?

27 West Cafe is located inside the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre on North Park Street in Bridgewater. It is a very unassuming little place that serves delicious healthy food options and some pretty good coffee. It is located at the far end of the LCLC, just before the library, and across for the aquatics centre. There is some beautiful natural light at that end of the LCLC, perfect to lighten your mood, even on a winter’s day.

I’ve had more coffee’s/meetings there than I can count. It’s an ideal place, with WiFi, and lots of available tables to conduct some small informal business, or just catch up with a friend. Kids swimming or skating? Just finished picking up your books at the library? What better way to spend some time than grabbing a coffee…and maybe some lunch.

I’ve had many lovely soups and wraps there and on this day I grabbed a coffee, and their grilled cheese with tomato and basil mayo. For $6.00 I had a delicious, much healthier option than you might consider grabbing for a quick-lunch.

There’s no prettier time to walk to 27 West Cafe than in the late summer/early fall. Even enjoy that coffee out on one of the benches or picnic tables outside of the LCLC.

27 West Cafe, another idea to consider for the “Where should we go for coffee?” question. The staff there are always friendly and helpful. You can check out their Facebook page for more info.

Totally agree! I have used this space for so many meetings since the Market closed. The coffee is excellent, and I love having some life going on around me. I am also hanging out quite a bit at Fancy Pants on King St. I lounge in the bar seats looking out on King Street, work on my laptop and am quite oblivous to the noise and chatter behind me! Little people voices, cries and yelps are just ambient sound!
