New work-from-home campaign invites people to move to Nova Scotia
Love this idea and thinking behind this campaign from Nova Scotia Business Inc. With so many people buying real estate from other provinces, and more businesses shifting to remote work, this makes a lot of sense.
On the South Shore, this is even more appealing, with our proximity to beautiful beaches etc, however for some areas, rural internet issues still need to be addressed. But, what an incredible place to live…and work. 🙂
The Year-Round Garden
Nova Scotia’s very own Niki Jabbour was featured for a piece in The New York Times this past week. Exciting! We were honoured to have been interviewed by Niki in 2017, on her radio show, The Weekend Gardener, along with Elspeth at Wile’s Lake Farm Market, to talk about sharing gardening tips on our then new Facebook Live series. So fun!
Niki has a new book out which talks about how garden covers, have made her vegetable garden more productive, weather-resistant, and less inviting to pests.
It is February…which is an appropriate time to start thinking about ones garden…right? 😉
