Petite General Store Reopens

After a devastating fire destroyed the Petite General Store last September while dealing with the effects of Hurricane Dorian, and operating in a make shift trailer since, this week the Petite General reopens in a beautiful replica of the original store.

The Petite General Store has everything you need, if you’re a community member who uses it to pick up the essentials, a camper who ran out of propane or a day-tripper visiting one of our beautiful beaches, who needs to grab drinks, lunch or something they forgot.

Being home to an NSLC outlet is also incredibly handy, when the next closest would be in Bridgewater. They provide an incredible assortment of wine, beer, coolers, spirits and more.

They also have a terrific selection of branded clothing, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, water bottles, travel mugs and more. Show off your love for the Petite General Store wherever you go! 🙂

Always a favourite and a must if you stop by the Petite General Store, is of course, getting ice cream. Enjoy it outside on the porch, or across the street int he Petite Reviere Community Park.

We’re so happy that the owners pledged to seeing the Petite General Store reopen in this way and the pride and commitment they have shown to the community in doing so. This piece of the communities history lives on, in their beautiful new building. Stop in next time you are in Petite Riviere and check out it out!
