Sweet and Sour Meatballs

- 1½ lbs ground beef
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup water or milk
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- ½ cup vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp ketchup
- In a medium bowl mix together the beef, bread crumbs, water or milk and salt and pepper.
- Shape in to balls and brown in a frying pan or hot oven.
- Transfer to a casserole dish.
- In a medium size saucepan, stir together the brown sugar and flour.
- Add vinegar, water, soy sauce and ketchup.
- Whisk together and then stir over medium-high heat.
- Heat until boiling.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Cover.-heat in a 350F oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
