Another good news story focused on the town of Bridgewater’s sustainability initiatives! Kudos to the council and staff that years ago had the foresight to hire a full-time sustainability planner. This was incredibly forward thinking and Leon de Vreede has done an amazing job. Bravo Bridgewater!

New offering at White Point gives visitors the chance to become lobster fishermen

OK…this is pretty cool. Giving visitors and tourists a chance to experience what its like to be a lobster fishermen is a terrific idea! My husband even said he would love to see what it’s like…until I mentioned that lobster fishermen usually set off in the wee hours of the morning….(he’s not really a morning person) LOL! Kudos to White Point Beach Resort for coming up with this terrific Nova Scotia experience!
