Sunday morning I usually grab a coffee and take time to catch-up on some stories I may not have had time to read throughout the week…I thought you might enjoy them as well.
Amateur Lunenburg filmmaker attracts NFB attention
I really love this story about how a woman went from attending a free seniors class on documentaries…and is now waiting to hear back from the National Film Board regarding the documentary she is working on and produced…all on her iPhone! Incredible and so inspiring! Congrats to Nancy!
Canada Steps Up To Host Pride House At 2018 Winter Olympics
We love all things Olympics here at our house, and this story just made our red and white hearts soar. How fitting…and appropriate…that Canada steps up and hosts a safe space for the LGBT community. On the world stage, and in a time of continuing upheaval and concern for individuals rights, Canada opens its arms and welcomes all with a safe space and resources for the community, their families and allies. Just when I thought I couldn’t love Canada…and the Olympics…more. Bravo!
You Could Work Here! Canoe Guide -Whynot Adventure- Kejimkujik Main Parkway, Jakes Landing, NS
OK…sometimes Kijiji has the best job postings…like this one. What an amazing summer job for the right person. Even if it’s not for you, go read their description of what they’re looking for and what the job entails. I love it.
You Could Live Here! 7 Seafarer’s Way Northwest Cove
Wow…this is a pretty amazing property. Great swimming, kayaking, sailing and privacy. Deep water anchorage, dock and float and an amazing guest bunky complete with a kitchenette and 3-piece bath! Huge rental potential for this house with the bunky and the home’s location. Imagine summers here? I am. 😉
Enjoy the day!
