I love everything about this. From tackling attitudes about healthy eating, to working with local producers to improve the quality of foods served in school cafeteria’s, this project has huge potential! I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.

The South Shore School Food Project wants to change the way students eat, one cafeteria and one school at a time. From advocacy to education, I love the work Alex Peeler is doing. Now he’s producing a video series on YouTube where he discusses life with a disability. Great job Alex…keep it up!

Alexander Peeler is tackling the stigma around living with a disability — all from the bedroom of his Bridgewater, N.S, home.This spring, the 25-year-old filmmaker launched a YouTube series about life with a rare form of muscular dystrophy. He’s now produced more than 40 short videos in which he discusses everything from the best adaptable clothing, to his reluctance to try accessible online dating apps.
