This is exciting news for FirkinStein Brewery! Opening a location in town with a brew pub included is really going to grow their customers and add to the appeal of King St in Bridgewater. They’ve already had success , but by moving to a more central location I can only see more good things to come from Adam and Devin. Great job guys!

It started as a friendly dare between two maintenance workers at Bridgewater’s Michelin. Devin Fraser and Adam Sarty challenged each other to determine who could make the best home brew. What if All I Want is a Mediocre Life?

It’s no mistake that my blog has the word “Simple” in it. It’s comforting, it’s reassuring, it’s home. This article spoke to me…a lot. In fact I felt like I could have written it.

You Could Live Here! 43 Jubilee Road, Bridgewater Nova Scotia

What a great price for such a central location! I love this home with fruit trees and a vegetable garden on the property and walking distance to Shipyards Landing, the outdoor pool, schools, etc. It has some beautiful details including the hemlock floors throughout.

This home is efficiently and effectively heated. No oil, gas or wood required here. It has two 12,000 BTU heat pumps installed about two years ago and a 24,000 BTU heat pump installed in the fall of 2016. Since installing the heat pumps the cost of heating this home has dropped significantly, with the bonus of air conditioning for those hot summer days. Lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with den. This is an old world charmer with beautiful craftsmanship and modern touches. Double boarded hemlock floors throughout. Main floor laundry, full bath, den, updated kitchen, living room and dining room. 3 bedrooms up with a second full bathroom, oak storage cabinets, lots of storage and a bright, cozy reading nook on the landing. Space available on the second floor could be used as a future laundry room. Great landscaped yard including fruit trees and a vegetable garden. Located within walking distance to the Desbrisay Museum, shops, schools, churches, sports fields, walking trail, pool, duck pond, Shipyards Landing and the LaHave River. Sellers adjacent lot is available if buyers would like to make an offer.
