I made a grocery list and did my shop yesterday…and I can’t tell you how much lighter I feel knowing that we are prepared…well…prepared for dinner anyway…for the next week. 😉 I am at the point where I need a list for all my lists, but at I know that meal planning is the way to go.  Meal Planning Made Easy with Sam’s No Frills!

Look who I ran into while I was doing my shop….Sam himself!

A few notes about this week’s meal plan:

*My schedule is a wee bit intense right now and I need some meals that the kids can handle. The english muffins will be toasted and with some pizza sauce, deli meat and grated mozzarella cheese, served with a Sweet Kale Salad makes one night quick and easy!

*I bought boneless quick fry pork chops that I will slice up for a stir fry. I do that as soon as I get home and bag it up, then all I need to do is start a pot of rice, fry up the pork, remove from the pan, add my frozen vegetables and when they are ready, throw the pork back in and some VH Stir-Fry Sauce. This supper can be on the table in 20 minutes.

*I’ll use the 2lbs of ground beef to make meatballs and that will give us enough for 2 nights. Next night just make a fresh pot of rice and you’re good to go.

*I typically buy the Club Pack size of frozen vegetables as they are usually cheaper in the long run and will last me for several meals.

If ever there was a time that you need meal planning in your life…I think it’s this time of year. Things are starting to get busy, the holiday calendar is filling in and the to-do list starts getting longer. Spend a few minutes planning out your weeks meals and then make your list and when you get home from shopping you’ll feel so much better knowing you have all the ingredients you need for the next week. I can’t say it enough…It’s. A. Game. Changer. 🙂

Are you feeling the time crunch with the Holidays approaching…or have a handle on things and getting ready to enjoy the festive season? Leave a comment and let me know! 🙂
