Meal Plan Monday

Big football game last night…it was Super Bowl Sunday and we all gathered to watch the game…even though we’re not a big football family…a big sporting event …gives us all the feels. I didn’t go all out with snacks like some do as we had a really nice Sunday dinner, but we did pop some popcorn, which is shameful really when I saw some other people’s spreads.  A lot of people love football…and they love their Superbowl snacks. 😉 Now it’s time to get back on track for another week…well the Eagles fans might not be ready quite yet…but for everyone else…it’s a good time for Meal Plan Monday.

No football games for us this week, but basketball and hockey still run our weekly schedule with games and practices all week. Honestly, our kids sports schedules keep us busy, but it definitely fills up what could otherwise be a long winter. We wouldn’t want it any other way.  Having a meal plan done during a busy week of school, practices, games, meetings, work, etc, keeps me sane, saves us money and stops us from picking up fast food or take-out. It just feels good. 😉

I’m looking forward to this weeks meals. I’m anxious to try Vicki’s recipe for Bacon and Broccoli Pasta and Chicken and Black Bean Burritos are a family favorite, but I haven’t made them in a while. Winter weather calls for warm, comforting food…and I think this week, we’ve got that covered.

What’s on your meal plan this week? Making any family favorites? Leave a comment and let me know. 🙂
