December on the blog

Oh December…you crazy, busy, lovely month. I assume your house may be like mine, and this one month of the year we seem to have more scheduled events than any other. They are all lovely, fun and we wouldn’t want to cut any of them out…but some of the days seem to blur by. All of this to say, the blog will most likely reflect that. Welcome to December on the blog.

I do plan to share some of my Holiday favourites in the next two weeks, as well as a little Farmers Market Christmas Shopping guide. Not sure at this point if I will be getting my meal plan posts up, but they will return in January. As well, I will be taking some time off during the last two weeks of December, when the kids are on Christmas Break.

Here’s a few recipes coming up this month:

Holiday Banana Loaf

Homemade Irish Cream

Warm Cranberry Dip

Spicy Maple Nuts

Christmas Granola

I am looking forward to it all, but thought I would provide a small update/preview. I have my house decorated, we’ve already hosted our annual Holiday Kick Off Party, and I have Christmas Music on pretty well non-stop. But, then there’s real life…school, work, hockey, concerts, commitments…but at the end of it all…family, peace and love…and a little festive eggnog when needed.

Thanks for joining me, and I hope you like all that is planned for December on the blog.
